The French ropeway installation and mountain resort conveyor belt network includes 3,518 installations*, divided into three categories. Ranked first in the world in terms of numbers, it accounts for nearly 17% of the international fleet. There are 3040 ropeway installations located on 316 sites, including ski resorts, tourist attractions, urban transport services and other sites.
