On November 27th and 28th, 2024, new international exchanges took place with RESCOR members. It brought together around fifteen people from Spain, Germany, Ireland, Serbia, Denmark, Switzerland, and France.

Collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden in september 2024

The first morning was an opportunity for our hosts to present their scope of intervention and to revisit the collapse of part of the Carola Bridge in Dresden, carrying the tramway tracks, in September 2024.

The day continued with a visit to an extension of the urban guided network towards Düsseldorf Airport (future U81 line) followed by a visit to the SkyTrain. This transportation system is a monorail suspended about ten meters above the ground, consisting of fully automatic cabins that allow passengers to travel between parking lots, Düsseldorf Flughafen station, and the terminals of Düsseldorf Airport.
